I’ve gotta say, I’ve missed this man. Not since “EXIT” have I actually paid this much attention to him. (If you’ve stuck with me this long, this shouldn’t surprise you.) He opens with a freestyle that certainly takes fans of his music back to simpler times. He’s a fantastic lyricist who very obviously enjoys what he does. That’s all anyone can really ask for. Does his brand of melded rapping and singing hit as hard as it did when I first heard him? I’m not sure. But I was smiling the entire time I listened to this album. So that’s gotta mean something, right?
