I didn’t know I needed a punk album from WILLOW. Turns out I 100% needed a punk album from WILLOW! But, of course as things go with this young woman, it’s so much more than just one thing. This collaboration with her friend Tyler Cole is a bit of magic that I wasn't expecting. It starts with a hurricane and moves into a slow burn. Building once again to an emotional hurricane. Full of energy, youth, loudness, incredible fierceness and unbelievable tenderness. A delicate softness at the edges. I actually look forward to more work from the duo, but if this is to be their last piece of work together, what an impression it’s made! Also WILLOW’s voice on the Interlude after “Poolside”…? Chills!
